Mountains of Madness takes its name from the peaks that surround Reno and Sparks — beautiful by day, unsettling by night. This November, those mountains become the backdrop for Northern Nevada’s new genre film festival, where horror, sci-fi, thriller, and cult cinema gather in the shadows. For one weekend, the monsters are unleashed.
